In this webinar, held September 27, 2012, Dr. Anthony J. Ernst provided an overview of how indigenous knowledge can be applied to existing wellness models to create more effective programming for Tribal populations. This webinar also looked at the challenge of implementing evidence-based practices in the context of Tribal wellness and mental health programs. In addition, Dr. Ernst highlighted current efforts to apply indigenous knowledge in community-based programming, as well as ways to develop similar programming.
