Stakeholders’ Views on the Movement to Reduce Youth Incarceration This report by the National Council on Crime and Delinquency (NCCD) summarizes the key strategies that have led to the reduction of youth incarceration across the nation.  For the report, researchers at NCCD spoke to more than 140 experts through 30 interviews, 5 state-based listening sessions, and a national convening.  The report also summarizes recommendations on the following topics: funding for reforms; placement policies that bring youth close to home; successful supervision strategies; incorporating youth, families, and communities in the reforms; and more.
