Responding to the Second Chance Act Juvenile Reentry Systems Reform Planning Solicitation

The National Reentry Resource Center hosted a webinar on April 24, 2014 for organizations responding to this solicitation FY 2014 Second Chance Act (SCA) Juvenile Reentry Systems Reform solicitation. The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention recently released the FY2014 Second Chance Act (SCA) Comprehensive Juvenile Reentry Systems Reform Planning Program solicitation. This new grant program provides a unique opportunity for state or local juvenile justice agencies to develop comprehensive, evidence-based plans to reform their juvenile reentry systems, reduce recidivism rates, and improve outcomes for youth. Grantees receive 12-month planning grants of up to $100,000 and intensive technical assistance from the National Reentry Resource Center. Upon completion of the planning phase, grantees are eligible to apply for $1–2 million grants to implement their systems reform plans. To download the solicitation, click here.
