Justice Reinvestment in Massachusetts: Reducing Recidivism and Strengthening Public Safety

After using a Justice Reinvestment approach, Massachusetts passed legislation that focuses on incentivizing good behavior, diverting people from incarceration to treatment and programming, and strengthening community supervision, among other measures.
