The report describes arrests and investigations by law enforcement agencies and growth rates by type of offense and federal judicial district. The report also examines trends in drug arrests by the Drug Enforcement Administration. Data are from the Federal Justice Statistics Program, which collects, standardizes, and reports on administrative data received from six federal justice agencies, including the Executive Office of United States Attorneys, the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
