The U.S. Department of Justice’s Bureau of Justice Assistance is seeking applications for the FY 2019 National Training and Technical Assistance Initiative to Improve Law Enforcement-Based Responses to People with Mental Health Disorders and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

This program provides training and technical assistance to law enforcement and other criminal justice agencies, along with their partner mental health and substance addiction authorities, to improve responses and reduce crime and recidivism for people who have mental illnesses as well as those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
