The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Center for Mental Health Services is seeking applications for FY 2018 Clinical Support System for Serious Mental Illness grants. The purpose of this program is to provide technical assistance (TA) for the implementation and provision of evidence-based treatment and recovery support programs for individuals living with serious mental illnesses. The program aims to establish a national center that provides this TA to providers, programs, and communities across the nation. Each grant project must develop and maintain a board that advises on the priorities and reach of the project; this board should include criminal justice system representatives and individuals with expertise in psychopharmacology, crisis services, community-based service provisions, and recovery support services delivery.
