The U.S. Department of Justice’s Office on Violence Against Women is seeking proposals for its FY 2019 Research and Evaluation (R&E) Initiative. The purpose of the program is to research and evaluate approaches to combating domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. By generating more knowledge about strategies for serving victims and holding people who commit crimes accountable, communities will be better equipped to align their work with practices that are known to be effective; they will also be more capable of generating empirical knowledge on the efficacy of new and promising methods.
The solicitation provides further details about the program. Applications are due by March 25.
