MentalHealth.gov Launched

July 12, 2013

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has announced the launch of MentalHealth.gov, an online resource about mental health. This website provides information about the signs of mental illness, how individuals can seek help, and how communities can begin a dialogue about mental health. The website was unveiled at the National Conference on Mental Health at the White House in early June, and it features videos from a number of individuals sharing their stories about mental illness, recovery, and hope.
