Apply for Smart Supervision Grant Program: Reducing Prison Populations, Saving Money, and Creating Safer Communities

BJA-squareThe U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ’s) Bureau of Justice Assistance is seeking applications for Smart Supervision: Reducing Prison Populations, Saving Money, and Creating Safer Communities. Funded through the Second Chance Act, this program furthers the DOJ’s mission by providing resources to states, units of local government, and federally recognized Indian tribes to develop and implement more effective and evidence-based probation and parole practices that effectively address people’s needs and reduce recidivism.
