NIC logoThis DVD-based training program from the National Institute of Corrections and the Community Corrections Collaborative Network is designed to highlight effective community reintegration practices that promote behavior change and recidivism reduction, enhance public safety, and save taxpayer dollars. The goals of the training include illustrating practical application of Risk Need Responsivity principles in order to match the right services to the right people at the right time; identifying effective community reintegration practices, including local and statewide examples that are demonstrating marked success; and developing a stakeholder analysis that includes potential community services collaborators and a plan for effective communication and information sharing.
