Keeping Fathers Engaged in Reentry Programs Post-Release

This webinar discusses the challenge of keeping participants engaged in fatherhood reentry programs after they have been released from incarceration and examines some techniques and strategies that have been employed by different programs. Erik Vecere, Vice President of Program Support for the National Fatherhood Initiative (NFI) leads the presentation and explores these different strategies and how they have been utilized in different areas of the country. He is joined by Hannah Gibson, Program Administrator for the Re-entry Branch of the Kentucky Department of Corrections to discuss how partnerships with corrections and probation and parole can assist in keeping fathers engaged in programming as well as Jordan Jeske, Field Director of Prison Fellowship who discusses his agency’s work assisting returning fathers gain employment.
