This webinar is intended for Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program grantees and Second Chance Act Reentry Program for Adult Offenders with Co-Occurring Substance Use and Mental Disorders grantees. The webinar discusses the best practices for screening and assessment of co-occurring substance use and mental disorders in the criminal justice system. Dr. Roger Peters, Professor of Mental Health Law and Policy at the University of South Florida, discusses how to select screening and assessment instruments for people with co-occurring disorders in the criminal justice system.
