Stephanie Villanueva

Stephanie Villanueva works on the Justice Counts initiative as a part of the data team, where she facilitates data sharing and manages relationships with Justice Counts agencies, vendors, and technology partners. She is the go-to person for Justice Counts data-related matters across internal and external teams and lends her expertise on matters such as automation, onboarding, and Publisher usability. Previously, she worked for American Prison Data Systems as a support associate, where she visited jails and prisons throughout the country and ensured access to educational and rehabilitative resources. She also worked in law enforcement as a community service officer and a crime analyst, providing geographic and statistical analysis to support crime reduction efforts. Stephanie has a BA in criminology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and an MS in criminal justice from Long Island University.
