The CSG Justice Center team works alongside leading policymakers and practitioners who are championing and driving change at the state and local level across the country. Our staff comprises smart, hard-working professionals who bring decades of experience in criminal justice, mental health, substance addiction, corrections and reentry, finance, workforce development, media, and more. Staff here have served governors, state legislators, and members of Congress across the political spectrum.
At the CSG Justice Center, we believe that for too long, people most impacted by systems of safety and justice have been least involved in processes to change them for the better. We recognize that individuals who have been directly impacted by the systems we work with bring unique and valuable expertise and perspectives. We welcome and encourage people with personal experience with the criminal and juvenile justice systems, homelessness services, or behavioral or mental health systems to join our team! Individuals are welcome—but not required—to indicate this experience in their application materials.
