Erin Thorvaldson

Project Manager, State Initiatives

Erin Thorvaldson leads implementation efforts and technical assistance for states using the Justice Reinvestment Initiative to advance criminal justice policy. Prior to joining the CSG Justice Center, Erin worked as a treatment director for reentry efforts at the Wisconsin Department of Corrections where she led development, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based interventions. In this role, Erin provided extensive training and technical assistance for risk and need assessments, continuous quality improvement, program evaluation, staff coaching, and program redesign. Erin holds a BA in psychology and a BA in social welfare from the University of Wisconsin and an MPA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
