Chelsey Wright works with state and local agencies to strengthen the use of data in criminal justice policy and practice. She conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis; develops research and policy products; and provides technical assistance to help agencies improve data collection, reporting, and analysis. Her work helps partners identify system trends and use data to inform decision-making and improve outcomes. Previously, Chelsey served as a data and policy analyst for the City of New Orleans’ Office of Criminal Justice Coordination, where she developed public-facing data dashboards and supported criminal justice agencies in improving data sharing and collaboration across systems. Chelsey received her BA in criminal justice from Loyola University New Orleans and her MA in international criminology from the University of Sheffield.
