Martin Harris works on the economic mobility team to support state legislative strategy that reduces policy barriers to employment for people with criminal records. Prior to joining the CSG Justice Center, Martin worked as a Baron Fellow with Alliance for Justice in Washington, DC, providing research and analysis to help expand diversity across federal judicial nominees. He also served as a clerk for the California State Assembly and for a judge in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California. Martin received his BA from the University of California, Merced, and a JD from the University of San Francisco.
