Melissa Knopp
Former Program Director, Corrections and Reentry
Melissa Knopp overseaw the national Reentry 2030 initiative to improve and support reintegration for people leaving prisons and jails or on community supervision. Prior to joining the CSG Justice Center, Melissa served as the Stepping Up Ohio project manager, where she worked with counties and state leadership to determine local needs and identify priority policy areas. Melissa also worked at the Ohio Supreme Court for over 15 years, where she served as staff counsel to the director of Legal and Legislative Services and manager of the Specialized Dockets Section. Melissa received a BA in political science from Wittenberg University and a JD from Western New England University School of Law.
