Omar Salinas leads as point person on CSG Justice Center projects for a variety of stakeholders and audiences. He analyzes legislative and administrative policies and works with team members to create recommendations through policy memos and briefs. Previously, Omar organized around children’s issues as state manager at Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) in Kentucky. Under SCAN, Omar was able to secure funding for full–day kindergarten across the state. Omar has a BA in Spanish and political science and an MPA from Eastern Kentucky University.
