COVID-19 has magnified the impact that structural racism and disproportionate incarceration have had on the health of communities of color. The conversation aims to provide important historical context about the relationship between racism, incarceration, and heath outcomes to inform policy makers who are seeking to make policy changes that improve the health and wellbeing of their communities.
