The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center convened more than 400 practitioners, researchers, and public officials for the Justice and Mental Health Collaboration (JMHCP) Program National Training and Technical Assistance Event, from February 9-11, 2011, to address the overrepresentation of people with mental illnesses in the criminal justice system.
The conference brought together past and present recipients of federal funding through the Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program (JMHCP), a program directed by the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), U.S. Department of Justice.
