FY24 Second Chance Act Improving Reentry Education and Employment Outcomes

In this webinar, representatives from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and the Council of State Governments Justice Center will review the FY 2024 Second Chance Act (SCA) Improving Reentry Education and Employment Outcomes application process. Through this opportunity, BJA is seeking applications for funding from state, local, and tribal governments, as well as community-based nonprofit organizations focused on strengthening education and employment outcomes for individuals returning to their communities after a period of incarceration. It is anticipated that this grant program will provide up to ten (10) awards of up to $900,000 each for programs focused on improving education outcomes, and up to twelve (12) awards of up to $900,000 each for programs focused on improving employment outcomes for a 36-month project.
