Melanie Stargell provides training and technical assistance to grantees, many of which are focused on the intersection of courts and behavioral health. Prior to joining the CSG Justice Center, she served as the problem-solving courts coordinator for Prince George’s County District Court. There, she oversaw the Adult Mental Health and Drug Courts and was a part of the creation of the DUI track within the drug court. Melanie earned her BA in psychology from Texas Southern University, her MA in forensic and legal psychology from Marymount University, and her MA in mental health counseling from Bowie State University.
