Jesten Slaw 

Legal Fellow, Corrections and Reentry

Jesten Slaw gathers, reviews, and analyzes policies in each of the 50 states relating to the collateral consequences of conviction and mechanisms to mitigate their impact on people with criminal records. Before working at the CSG Justice Center, Jesten worked at the Legal Aid Society of Louisville as a crime victim outreach coordinator. In this role, he built a network of stakeholder organizations to enable victims of violent crimes in marginalized communities to receive services and support. He has a BA in political science from Fort Valley State University, MPA from Pennsylvania State University, and JD from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.
