How to Use American Rescue Plan Housing Resources for Stepping Up

Past Event
June 10, 2021 - June 22, 2021, Eastern

Hosted by The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center and Peg’s Foundation

The American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act provides resources for housing at a scale rarely seen. To deploy these resources for the Stepping Up target population (people with behavioral health needs cycling in and out of jails), criminal justice stakeholders must act quickly to build collaborative relationships with housing partners. This webinar will introduce the key ARP housing funding streams, how to strategically access them for this target population, and several collaboration-building strategies.

Speakers:

  • Sally Luken, Consultant
  • Charles Francis, Project Manager, Behavioral Health, CSG Justice Center
  • Thomas Coyne, Senior Policy Analyst, Behavioral Health, CSG Justice Center
