In this webinar, representatives from the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) and The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center reviewed the BJA FY23 Pay for Success Initiative Solicitation application process. The program will support performance-based and outcomes-based programming that ties payment for services to reaching agreed-upon goals. Under this initiative, services that may be purchased include permanent supportive housing, as well as other types of reentry services that are tailored to individuals leaving incarceration, particularly those with substance use disorders.

  • Andre Bethea, Senior Policy Advisor, Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice
  • Charles Francis, Deputy Program Director, Behavioral Health, CSG Justice Center
