Arnoldo Ayala supports the Justice Counts recruitment team. In this role, he leverages his expertise in data-driven decision-making, policy advocacy, and legal analysis to strengthen engagement with justice system stakeholders, particularly with community supervision and correctional agencies. Previously, Arnoldo served as a policy analyst for the City of Chicago, where he played a key role in developing and implementing policy initiatives aimed at promoting free and fair local elections. Before that, he was a researcher with the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority, where he evaluated government-operated programs as part of the restorative justice team. Arnoldo holds dual bachelor’s degrees in political science and Spanish from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and earned an MPP from the University of Chicago’s Harris School of Public Policy.
