Ashley Nguyen 

Ashley Nguyen works on the Justice Reinvestment Initiative, providing technical assistance to help state leaders design and implement policies to reduce recidivism. She previously worked at the Harris County Public Defender’s Office, where she provided case management services and holistic support to clients in collaboration with defense attorneys. Ashley has also worked as a research assistant at the Prison and Jail Innovation Lab, producing materials for the first national clearinghouse on correctional oversight bodies. She holds a BA from Rice University and an MPAff from the University of Texas at Austin.
