Dr. Doreen Williams 

Dr. Doreen Williams is in her third term as a Rockdale County commissioner. As a commissioner, her work has included hosting numerous community symposiums and forums on behavioral health. She also helped spearhead the Stepping Up initiative in Rockdale County in 2015 and advised on the initiative nationally. Commissioner Williams currently serves as chair of the board of directors for View Point Health, the local community service board that she has served on for 15 years. She has served as chair of the Health and Human Services Policy Steering Committee for the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia while also serving on the ACCG Mental Health Committee as co-chair of one of its subcommittees. She has been a member of the NACo Health Steering Committee for nine years. She earned her EdD from Georgia Southern University, an MEd from Walden University, and a BA from Brigham Young University.
