Gina Evans partners with county leaders across the country to strengthen connections between local justice and behavioral health systems. Previously, Gina served as director of government relations for Minnesota’s largest residential substance use disorder treatment provider, advancing behavioral health access and second-chance policy reforms. She is vice president of the Minnesota Association of Resources for Recovery and Chemical Health and serves on the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Community Advisory Board. Gina holds a degree in construction electricity and is a trained peer recovery support specialist.
