Jesse Kelley is the Reentry 2030 program director at the CSG Justice Center. Previously, she was a senior policy strategist with The Clean Slate Initiative, utilizing her expertise in record clearance procedures to support policy strategy and state-level campaigns. Jesse also served as legislative counsel at the Marijuana Policy Project, where she led state advocacy initiatives and achieved successes in decriminalization and legalization. Before that, she practiced law as a criminal defense attorney in Alabama. Jesse graduated magna cum laude from Troy University with a BS in English and holds a JD from the University of Mississippi, with a concentration in international law from Cambridge University.
