Mari Roberts performs data analysis and visualization for various CSG Justice Center projects, such as Justice Counts, Justice Reinvestment, and More Community, Less Confinement. She has also contributed to projects related to behavioral health, sentencing reform, and corrections. Before joining the CSG Justice Center, Mari worked at the Correctional Association of New York, where she tracked COVID-19 in New York State prisons and reported findings to the legislature and broader public. She also worked at New York University as a data analyst looking at the relationship between food security and well-being in rural Bangladesh. She earned a BS in biology from Florida State University and an MS in applied statistics for social science research from New York University.
