As the director of strategic alignment, Dr. Maya McDoom guides collaboration among the leadership team and enhances organizational alignment on priorities and outcomes. Maya brings valuable experience from her tenure as the senior director of research and evaluation at the Center for Policing Equity. There, she led team operations and guided evidence-based evaluation and applied research for public safety redesign. Previously, Maya’s team at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield drove operational improvements and cost savings for various programs through strategic insights to executives. Maya’s expertise spans program management, operations, health equity, and social determinants, cultivated across her career in the academic, nonprofit, and private sectors. Maya earned a PhD from Boston University and an MPH from the University of Kentucky.
