Sam DeJohn provides administrative and programmatic support for staff across the Behavioral Health Division, including for projects and technical assistance focused on reducing the overrepresentation of people with mental illnesses and co-occurring substance use disorders in the criminal justice system. Prior to joining the CSG Justice Center, Sam conducted behavioral insights research, coordinated communications efforts, and managed operations for different nonprofit organizations/research institutions. Sam holds a BA in psychology from the Pennsylvania State University and has published articles in Forbes, Governing Magazine, and Public Sector Digest, as well as several blogs.
