The Honorable Marcia Hirsch

Judge Marcia P. Hirsch serves as the presiding judge of the Queens Drug Treatment court, the DWI Treatment Court, the Mental Health Court, the Veterans Court, and the Drug Diversion Court in Queens, New York. She has served as treatment court judge for 19 years and consistently promotes an atmosphere of hope, recovery, and safety from shame and adversity through the active creation of a trauma-informed community. She has been a lecturer on subjects such as therapeutic justice, trauma-informed courts, and procedural justice. She is the president of the New York Association of Treatment Court Professionals and is a faculty member of the All Rise Treatment Court Institute. She is also the president of the recently established New York Women Judges Association, Inc.
