Program Highlights

Several communities are leading the country, implementing an array of community responder models tailored to their local needs. Sometimes, for example, teams are city employees based in their own department or within an existing department; others are based in non-profits that contract with the local government. Some teams include emergency medical technicians or paramedics while others will include peer support specialists and clinicians.
