Hosted by The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center with funding and support from the Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs’ Bureau of Justice Assistance. 

Transforming co-response into a full-time profession requires intentional career pathways, standardized hiring practices, and sustainable workforce strategies. This webinar will bring together experts and practitioners to explore how communities can build a structured path for clinicians—from student training to supervisory roles—in co-response programs. Panelists will discuss best practices for professionalizing the field, ensuring consistency in hiring and retention, and fostering long-term sustainability. This session will provide actionable insights to strengthen and expand the co-response workforce for clinicians, policymakers, agency leaders, and more.
