Elizabeth Ryder helps states collect and use data to inform their policies and improve criminal justice outcomes. Prior to joining the CSG Justice Center, Elizabeth worked at The Pew Charitable Trusts helping states conduct cost-benefit analyses and evaluate the evidence base of their social service programs. She managed project implementation in multiple states and counties with the goal of redirecting resources toward effective programs with high returns on investment. She has also served as special assistant to the Vermont secretary of state, focusing on voting rights and accessibility and government transparency. She received a BS from the University of Vermont.
