Experts and Advocates Gather for 2014 Children’s Mental Health Research and Policy Conference
The University of South Florida recently hosted the 27th Annual Children’s Mental Health Research and Policy Conference in March 2014. At the event, over 550 researchers, evaluators, policymakers, parents, and advocates discussed new research on improving service systems for children and youth with mental health challenges and their families. Topics included collaborative approaches, transition to adulthood, federal updates, national trends, and program funding. One of the keynote speakers was David Satcher, the 16th Surgeon General of the United States and the current Director of the Satcher Health Institute. Conference presentations are now available in PDF format. To view highlights of the conference and the presentations, click here.
