The role of peer support specialists, individuals who use their personal experience with recovery from mental health and/or substance use disorders to provide support, continue to emerge and evolve in the workforce. This webinar will offer an overview of the multiple roles that adult and parent peer support specialists play in organizations across the country. It will also discuss topics such as the importance of developing appropriate job descriptions, ensuring that peers receive the support they need, and future workforce expansion opportunities for peers.
