Face to Face in Action
The Face to Face initiative helps create meaningful, personal interactions between policymakers and people who have firsthand experience with the criminal justice system.
The CSG Justice Center has helped organize a variety of Face to Face events across the country to help policymakers better understand the human impact of criminal justice policy. Participating policymakers have held roundtable discussions about hiring people who have criminal records, toured correctional facilities, visited specialized health centers dedicated to treating people who have been diverted from jail, and many more.
